The inn distinguishes itself through its history and visual identity. In 1989, two artists, Carole Faucher and Jean Rossignol, transform the former general store into a lodging destination. The inn opens its doors in 1990 with baroque and theatrical decor that becomes its signature. For over thirty years, the couple organizes dinner theaters and cultural gatherings, anchoring the address in the region's artistic life. Since 2021, Mélissa and Mathieu, young entrepreneurs from the area, ensure its continuity with hospitality centered on local producers and artisans.

The spirit of the place remains true to the imprint of its founders: romantic and theatrical decor, rooms with ancestral character, and particular attention to detail. The renovation of the garden-side rooms in 2025 extends this spirit in a more contemporary register, without breaking with the house's identity.

The Table du Mange-Grenouille has established itself for over thirty years as a reference for French cuisine in the region. It now prioritizes proximity with producers and the showcasing of local terroir. On the menu according to seasons: lobster, lamb, local berries, accompanied by wines, beers and spirits from Quebec. The restaurant welcomes guests in the evening, by reservation.

In the lobby, a boutique brings together products bearing the house's name and artisanal creations from Lower Saint Lawrence.
